Cycle paths

A number of cycle paths connect Mantua and its surrounding area. Crossing wide areas of countryside, they wind their way alongside the boundaries of farm estates, rivers and irrigation canals. To the north they cross the low morainic hills where patches of thick natural woodland alternate with orderly cultivated zones, while to the south they pass through immense areas beside the river bed thick with poplar plantations and spontaneous vegetation. Everywhere water and fields are linked by an uninterrupted system of irrigation plants, ditches, bridges and riverbanks. Horse or cycle rides last a few hours at most.

Before starting off we suggest downloading the pdf of all the printable routes.
